Middle East Major Container Loading Contract Successfully Commissioned & Operational

Redler® have now completed the installation and commissioning of a major contract valued at around £2 million to supply Abu Dhabi based Polyolefins producer, Borouge, with some specially designed loading equipment for their production expansion project known as Borouge II.

The contract which was supplied through the Italian company Tecnimont included for a large quantity of FulFiller® Container Loading machines designed to handle both PP and PE Plastic Pellets.

Due to a mixture of silo layouts and particular operational requirements, two highly customised versions of the Redler FulFiller® Container Loading machinery were specified by the client.

Redler were able to offer modified versions of the Customer Fixed Frame (CFF) and Dedicated Mobile Frame (DMF) FulFiller® Container Loading machinery.

The contract required the supply of 23 Container Loaders, 20 of which were each located directly underneath a dedicated silo and 3 mobile units which could be towed between locations and positioned beneath the required silo.

The units designed to handle plastic pellets at rates up to capacities of 240m3/hr were fully automated to allow height and angle of throw adjustment, plus alignment control to regulate twist and tilt whilst having a high paint specification to withstand the very high ambient operating temperatures, at around 50ºC, and also to cope with the sand/dust abrasion and sea salt corrosion elements.

The Redler FulFiller® itself is based upon proven belt thrower techniques which Redler® established over 50 years ago and this technology has been incorporated into this range of specifically designed units to load bulk materials into ISO Containers, thus offering a quick and simple loading operation, load maximisation and competitive capital and operating costs.
