Stock Redler Limited De-Ashers

STOCK REDLER submerged de-ashers are designed to remove ash from the combustion chamber of solid fuel boilers without the combustion process being influenced by leakage of air or sudden surges of ash.

Ash falls from the combustion chamber into a water trough where it is collected and quenched. The conveyor scraper chain extracts the wet ash from the water trough up an incline where it is dewatered. Conditioned ash is then discharged by a disposal conveying system that can include:-

The combustion chamber has a drop chute and wear seal plates that project into the water contained within the de-asher thus ensuring an air tight seal. Often ash temperatures and small combustion chamber size demands the inclusion of the drop chute constructed from special steels with water cooling.

Of robust welded construction the chain scraper conveys the ash on the top run inside the water trough. The return chain travels inside a compartment situated below the water trough. The scraper chain has two loops of a wear resistant round link chain connected at frequent intervals by bolted scraper bars.

Drives can be of fixed or variable speed to match changes in operating conditions. All parts subject to wear are readily replacable.
